God provides for the ministry of our church through your tithes and offerings and your gifts are honored with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and accountability to our executive leadership team and denomination. It’s more than keeping the lights on, it’s about personal worship to God and handing Him back what He already owns - and it’s about Transforming the Heart of our City Through relationships with God and People.

1 Chronicles 29:14
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”

Other ways to give

God’s Word calls us to obediently “tithe” (give 10%) of what He gives us, to do His kingdom work. “Offerings” given to God are gifts above and beyond our tithes. Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of Our Church and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach. (Malachi 3:10)

An offering is a gift above the tithe that God speaks to your heart to give to. That might mean being lavishly generous or simply sacrificial…like sacrificing a fast food meal or Starbucks. What you give as an offering should be decided between you and God, and He asks that you give in some way from a worshipful heart and prayerful consideration.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Heart Fund & Hygiene Bank

Desert Song Community Church's Hygiene Bank ministry provides many of the essential items that our lower income populations need but can't afford or use their state assistance on.  These items include various hygiene products such as soap, TP, toothpaste, etc.
 
Our Heart Fund helps assist those in both our community or local church body who for a variety of reasons may need temporary help.

WORLD MISSIONS

Desert Song Community Church gives a portion of its tithe each month to help support global missions by partnering with our own Desert Song missionaries as well as Open Bible Standard Churches Global Outreach.  We believe the Lord has called us to both send and support the sharing of the gospel to all Nations.
